Following on from a very successful trial period over the Summer with 20 different children coming to try the new Under 7 basketball sessions, we are delighted to announce that the sessions have been made permanent!

Coach Lucie has been delivering some brilliant skills building lessons where the children have had great fun, been active and started to understand the rules and techniques of basketball.

Who

These sessions are for school years 1 & 2 (new school year) for boys and girls with no previous experience necessary. The club caters for all other school ages with year 3 & 4 also training on Thursday evening 6-7pm.

Where and when?

The sessions take place every Thursday from 5:30pm-6:15pm at the St Augustine's Building of Cardinal Newman college in the studio space on the lower floor of the building. Parking is available in the car park outside the building accessed from St Austin's Place. For more detail on how to find us click here.

Cost

The cost is £20 per month payable by monthly direct debit with a £15 sign on fee per season which includes a sublimated Preston Basketball jersey for every child to keep. The first session is free to try and afterwards payments can be made via the website shop.

At the sessions we will help you sign up to the website but there is a YouTube tutorial here to help.
