...Joe Heyes as our new Head Sports Therapist and Strength & Conditioning Coach. With a strong background in sports therapy and an impressive track record in developing athletes to reach their full potential, Joe brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to our team.
In this key role, Joe will oversee injury prevention, rehabilitation, and player performance, ensuring that our athletes are in peak physical condition both on and off the court. This appointment is a crucial step in strengthening our support system for players and enhancing their performance through science-backed training methods.
"We are excited to have Joe extend his role in the club beyond his playing career," said Andrew Thrower (Director). "His expertise and passion for sports performance and basketball will help us take our club to the next level, ensuring our athletes have the best care and conditioning possible."
With years of experience in sports therapy and conditioning, Joe has worked with athletes in the SLB (Formerly BBL), Premier League, EFL League 2, and Rugby Super League, fine-tuning their performance and helping them recover from injuries efficiently. His holistic approach focuses on injury prevention, rehabilitation, and sport specific training required to excel in the sport.
Joe said, "I'm excited to be able to give back to a club that I have a long history with, and look forward to working closely with the players, helping them achieve their best both physically and mentally. I believe that proper therapy and conditioning are critical to success in any sport, and I’m eager to contribute to the team's overall performance and growth."
